Physiotherapy aims to treat acute and chronic pain, restore strength and mobility to promote correct movement patterns and restore function, whether it be simple activities of daily living to climbing Mount Everest!
After a thorough assessment Jo uses a hands on approach, with a variation of techniques, including; soft tissue/ myofascial release, manipulation, electrotherapy, exercise along with functional movement advice to facilitate recovery and get you back to optimum fitness, whatever level it may be. Jo has worked with Olympic athletes and all kinds of recreational sports people, is experienced and confident to get you back on the road to recovery!
Having also worked extensively in trauma and orthopaedics Jo can help you pre and post surgery to guide you on your road to recovery, whether it be an ACL reconstruction, to a fractured wrist or a sprained ankle.
